Admins, the ones we love to hate.

There are a few kinds of admins and lately they seem to be getting everyones backs up.

Ones who life revolves around playing god and stepping in when need be.
Ones who sit back and let people play the game.
Ones who just add for the hell of adding people.
Ones who wont add you until they have a full dossier on you including your bra, knicker and when aunt flo comes … some that have even requested PMKeys <--- I know right WTF

Who do they think they are. Seems that the mighty are shit scared of falling and are going out of their way to justify removing people from groups without any justifications or real convictions.

If you just let people go have their say (Again people its SOCIAL MEDIA not I put a post up and only people who agree with me or admin get to stay or I cry wolf that Im being bullied and get people booted)
Admin a group and it can go one of two ways. You can be that admin that will let the group flow along nicely and let the members dictate the tone of the threads and issues being raised and discussed or be that admin with a god complex that lets the power go straight to the stupid gland and try and control everything and everyone within the group. You take away any right the member has when it comes to being an adult and giving an opinion!

Now being an admin brings all sorts of unexpected matters to deal with and depending on how you as the admin like to control your group will depend on the level of pm's you'll receive.

When a heated debate comes along, some in the group my send you a pm asking for it to be deleted or stopped and you as admin have to the power to delete or let it unfold.

Members of your group will offer up their suspicions on other members or they will offer you their thoughts on a certain new member who might be a known trouble maker elsewhere.

If you throw a member out of your group, except to have a pm asking for an explanation as to why. Be prepared to have member wrath should they feel the removal was unjust.

If you wake up to many pm's, it means it has been one hell of discussion the night before

Throwing stones at hidden agendas

First I would like to put out there that I really enjoy reading the other blogs. I enjoy reading the comments just as much. One blog who has stood out over the past few days is Just another Army Wife http://justanotherarmywifeblog.blogspot.com.au/search?updated-min=2012-01-01T00:00:00+11:00&updated-max=2013-01-01T00:00:00+11:00&max-results=16. This blogger has managed to hit up over 50+ comments on one post alone plus get over 500 hits and its still going.  It seems to have hit the nerve of a few people. So many people are thinking it’s about them; do you have something to hide? Are you the one who is causing all this trouble?  I can assure you it’s not just one SO FAR the count is approximately 5.

Based on the antics on FB, there seems to be a few who are targeting the Cage, so I thought we shall have a little list:

S.A who reared her head AGAIN (we all remember her last little try at stirring the pot in cage – who stated that we all fell for it? Its ok we all know a fool when we read one) in a little support group commenting on a photo dragging up goings on of the day before when it was all done and dusted but no, in TRUE FINE SA FORM things need to be rehashed, you cant leave things alone you need to have your little show, then block every member that commented on the thread, because you couldn’t handle what you started. You bitch and moan about others bringing stuff up yet you purposely go into groups to cause havoc so who’s a troll?

Strawberry, hates her nick name but has now come up with 2 nicknames for other people with her bestie, go figure? Famous for not allowing people into certain groups because they are members of the Cage – isn’t that discrimination? Also change your PF pic it looks like your bestie has just smelt her armpits and she is not impressed.

Blueberry the sister who is turning just as block happy as her sister (who claimed she unblocked everyone not too long ago only to go and re block them WTF)

This weeks PEARLER, Jam Rolls whose husband is Blue Waffle. Jam Rolls who likes to play the victim and make piss poor attempts for sympathy that pretty much gets called out on every one pf her posts on the “support” pages as a head case. One thread that many were witness to was a comment she made stating the following:

“13^th June 012: Like I said I am quite busy. Thanks anyway. Must get to bed have work and study tomorrow. Maybe I’ll have your children in a class of mine one day soon considering how small the Defence community really is lol”

Now this comment was directed at another member of the group, asking why Jam Rolls will be looking her up, on the group that she co admined (a comment jam rolls said she did –by the way this said group puts the FULL addresses of service residents in a closed group for all members to write the negative things about the SR – THAT IS JUST ASKING FOR TROUBLE, IDIOTS!!!!!!) to which she has now blocked and  banned all persons who commented on the thread and most to be believed members of the Cage. Whoops getting of track here. Any who – people are of the opinion that Jam Rolls has threatened these people with having their kids in her class (well if it ever happens because I’m sure should it happen people will be straight on to the education department) who’s to say that she will or wont treat them different because she has issues with the parents. For someone to put that out there is a, well lets face it an Assclown.   

Another quote: Everything I put on Facebook is reviewed by our legal team. <<< god I hope to heaven everything you write IS viewed by a legal team but now by legal you mean suits and by suits, I mean straight jackets.

All these people are doing is 1. Making themselves look like a bunch of dicks. 2. Bringing conflict into pages – the one thing that cage has done, is taken the majority of it out. 3. Making Admins of the support pages make decisions and pull in the reigns when YOU come in and behave like kids. 4. Stealing form a comment in the Cage “the more they bash the Cage, the closer we get as a group. So what they are doing is uniting us and making our friendships stronger”

By the way I think its pretty funny that everyone is seeing who these people are and hope that the next time they put a post up people remember what a bunch of tools they are with how they carry themselves on FB considering they have been targeting people who differ in opinions with them for years, well its all coming out now isn’t it ladies.

A lying ass pussy who lies about anything and everything. Lies just to get by and pretends to be something that they're not. Habitual liar who lies to make themselves look better than they really are. A fake ass pussy who can't admit his/her flaws, weaknesses, and mistakes.

How much trust do we put in a FB friend ...

Let’s say we meet online, on a common interest page, get chatting on a post and its like we have known each other for years, BUT we don’t.  We start to pm and open up that little more slowly we are pouring our hearts out and the friendship has progressed another level .... or so you think.

One bad post and someone not reading your words but skimming it or because you didn’t put a bloody J or a lol BANG your done bitch how dare you say the sky is purple, its blue, how did I trust you for all these days I thought you had my back bitch .... A FB friend is a friend for life.

Or there’s another way ....

Same again page, post, they are having a whinge and you support their whinge – ahhh look at that your besties now because you can whinge together.

How about this one, the more common –

Page, post, they are attacking someone/or being attacked , you get in on it “its a hate friendship” so now everyone thinks you’re a pack – then one or two more people get in, now you’re a group – a hate group – at every opportunity when someone  sees you are  all in a group everything  and anything that you say, people assume it’s about them, though its not – these people  pm others  warning them out, that “so and so” is talking about you in a group – but they are not using names yet – its brewing – then BANG one stupid twat goes and uses a name – you fuck tard – Screen Dump.  

Then it breaks out, it eats at you, that this person said this and that.

WHY, you just want to know WHY, you start to doubt yourself, you think and think.

Well here is the answer – people don’t read words they skim – just like when you were at school and you’re listening to the teacher out of every 20 words you only take in 7 or some ridiculous amount like that.

Do yourself a favour and really read shit before you open your mouth. Take the time to process it before you take your interpretation and regurgitate it into god knows what.  Stop spreading seeds of doubt, you have no idea of the impact it can have on someone. 

Float like a Butterfly OR Sting like a Bee

Gone are the days where rumours flew between defence spouses as to who had an OMO box in their window*. 

Today’s defence spouse is net savvy and heavily opinionated. 

Visual facebook slanging matches, screen shots and stalking have become common practice within the culture of a modern day defence WAG**.

Defence spouses who know the address of their "opponent" without ever having met them. Queue the technological cage fights and call outs.

Is it because of the times turning, women in general are more headstrong and independent and no longer need a man to defend their honour, defence spouses need to be a whole special breed of tough. They now call a spade a “fucking spade” and if anyone wants to argue that it is indeed a shovel, better duck and run for cover.

Entering the defence wag domain on facebook is definitely not for the faint hearted. You will read posts divulging far too much information about sex lives, husbands and hatred... Show-offs and scrag fights are all too common.

The drive to be queen bitch is a monumental feat that some newcomers to the defence spouse way of life deem themselves worthy of. These five minute WAG’s write blogs about their soldiers/sailors/airmen as though they understand the life, the ups and downs and all the disappointments that come with it, all while their fearless “hero” is being taught to make a bed with perfect hospital corners at the first port of call...basic training. 

How are these 5min wives supposed to understand what it is like to care for 3 sick children while sick yourself with zero support from anyone? How can they comprehend that you NEVER EVER EVER get your hopes up about anything because as soon as you do something from the ADF will come along and change things so that you miss out? 

Other WAG’s believe the queen B title should be based on rank....or lack thereof (the number of “junior rank” wives who will not associate with wives who’s partners “have rank” far outweighs the reverse in my experience.) 

Really all you need to know is that if you are stepping into the arena that is defence WAG pages on facebook make sure you have a large supply of tissues for your issues and have your big girl knickers on. You will need them!

*OMO boxes (washing powder) were used to display the acronym “old man’s out” signalling that the household was man free and open to marital digressions. The OMO box was replaced with a box of FAB when the man of the house returned “Fucking Arsehole’s Back”

The Cage ...

So we have a new little group on FB called cage fight, its booming, its entertaining and its a free for all. I have sat back and watched people come in vent their shit and its all good, all good until someone comes in and tells them that what they are doing is wrong – then you get eaten alive. Some are then going back to their “support groups” – now you know my opinion on them – see last post, and are bagging the shit out of it.

200 plus wags letting it all out – its healthy, its keeping it out of the groups (well apart from the idiots talking about the group in other groups.

There are no rules in this group but there should be one – THOSE WHO CAGE FIGHT DONT TALK ABOUT CAGE FIGHT.

I see this group as a positive thing there is no deleting by admin (who might I add is a funny funny bitch) people come in “call out” someone for a explanation on their behaviour – this other person chooses if they will do so. It’s quite adult when you thing about it as a bigger picture.

There are a lot of personalities in there some bigger than others, but most that you have never seen talking like this before, the quite timid wholesome ones who really let it out. Breeders and non breeders alike sharing.

Is it better to bottle up and sit there and fume or feel the release of hitting that enter button.

Not everyone comments most just watch with popcorn waiting.

I was very surprised to see a little Miss who has caused a massive uproar on FB actually answer some questions that has been put too her not all but some – She did allow people back into the group (not that the link worked for everyone) but now has deleted said group – bit suss.

If you are going to visit this little group go in with a open mind a glass of wine and read away – don’t over analyse what you see and really read it ..... and if it looks choppy and if people are talking to themselves well honey you have been BLOCKED .... Perhaps you should do a call out of your own. 

Block Happy on FB ...

It is a personal peeve, pet hate whatever you want to describe it as being BLOCKED on FB.

I love watching people go at it on FB I think its hilarious,  its that little feeling inside that makes you happy that there are people more retarded then you in this little world.  The anger, the passion its a wonderful thing .... then it takes these next steps.

1. I don’t like you so I’m going to make another group that serves that same purpose as yours but because I can be a admin and be power hungry and say no you can’t come in my little group blah blah blah. 
2. The people who are not allowed in make fake profiles to gain access to so said groups and manage to take screen dumps of the “I hate blah blah group” and then it gets back to the other people they were bitching about.
3. The original people who did the booting to begin with now have caught wind of it and make yet another group to bitch about those people.

And there we have the FB circle of life.

Can you imagine if this was a workplace .... Your Fired

I would love to run into certain people who have said shit about me, but alas due to our posting locations this will probably never happen. 

Oh and this is why we have so many so called support groups – THEY ARE NOT SUPPORT GROUPS THEY ARE BITCHING GROUPS AND IF YOU ARE FRIENDS WITH SOME PEOPLE THEN YOU WILL NEVER BE ADDED OR YOU WILL BE ON THE PRE BLOCKED LIST (YES THEY EXIST) – YOU MAY KNOW SOME INFORMATION THAT WILL HELP A PERSON – WHO WILL ACTUALLY NOT TAKE YOUR ADVICE THEY JUST WANT THE ATTENTION TO HAVE PEOPLE COMMENT ON THEIR THREAD SO THAT THEY CAN BE MORE REASSURED. 

Civi Says ... Defence Do

I thought I might start this off pretty light, don’t want to go and shock you all into submission just yet.  There have been a few articles in the papers lately about defence and even the possible attainment of more serving members to Darwin (that was posted on the Dfof Page).  The amount of stupid things and reasons people put to this “travesty”  ...  ppfftt get nicked ... was some of the funniest yet disturbing things i have read.

So this brings me to my first ever post ..... Stupid ridiculous things uninformed Civilians say to Defence ....

1. We get free housing .... UM NO but the NT Police force do. We do get subsidised housing that is ment to equate to 50% of the Market rent (calculated as an average across AU)
2.  We get discounted Power and utility bills ... UM NO but we can get a defender discount from Telstra of $10 off per month of a bundle.
3. We get paid huge $$ for wages ... See now this one pisses me off the most because its pittance. If it wasn’t for Service allowance it would be below min wage.
4. In response to more defence in Darwin this is on the thread : Oh! The will probably get their housing andland from Housing Commission. Thats why no-one can buy their own houses anymore, sell it 2 Defence Dept.  ..... IM SORRY WTF ?????
